The Tomato Sweater is a knitting pattern suitable for intermediate knitters. The tomato sweater has duplicate stitching on the front. This means the color work is added later. The sweater is knit by first working short rows on the upper back, then after adding the shoulder pieces and connecting in the round. It is knit top down. The sweater is suitable for all genders, sizes XS through 5XL.
Description
Materials needed
- 4mm circular needles with a long cable (60, 80, 100 or 120 cm)
- 4mm circular needles with a 20cm cable or DPN’s in 4mm
- 3.5mm circular needles with a long cable (60, 80, 100 or 120 cm)
- 8 stitch markers
- A darning needle
- A stitch holder of some sorts
- 4 (4) 5 (6) 6 (7) 7 (8) 8 skeins of Hobbii Upcycled Alpaca Blend in colour 22 for the sweater base
- And you will need one skein of Hobbii Friends Wool in colour 105 Emerald,
- And one skein of Hobbii Friends Wool colour 40 Tomato.
Sizing
Sizes of the sweater in centimeters, and the sweater has 5-10cm of positive ease. This means the sweater is 5 to 10 cm bigger than your natural bust. The fit is relaxed but not very oversized.
