Here, I hope to show people the value of fashion through teaching them to make for themselves. I always tell people: ‘even if you make one ugly scarf in your lifetime, you get to see the value that goes into making our clothes’.
By inspiring other to create, I hope people will see that textile and fibre arts are worth more then we pay for it in fast fashion stores. By creating colourful and unique designs, I hope you see that there are sustainable and creative ways to dress nicely.
Me & My craft
I am Klara, 27 years old, and I live in Arnhem, the Netherlands. I live here with my partner Martin and our dog Billy. I’ve been crocheting all my life and picked knitting back up in 2020. My mom used to knit a lot, but since she is lefthanded she could not teach me. And so my grandmother taught me: which is also a very beautiful childhood memory! Most days I work as a brand marketeer, as creating patterns is not my fulltime job. After work I am always creating, and every time I love a design I have created, I write a pattern for it.
