It is made using double knitting, a technique where both sides of the work are knitted. The scarf is one size, and can be as long or short as you prefer. The pattern is suitable for intermediate knitters. A colourchart and tutorial links are given.

Description

Materials needed for the Spot On Scarf

  • 4.5mm needles. It is up to you if you prefer two straight needles or one round needle with a cable. 
  • Stitch holders
  • Stitch marker
  • A darning needle
  • Yarn in two colours, they will be referred to as colour A and B. See chart. You can use any yarn corresponding with a 4.5mm needle. You can use leftover balls for example, which I did too. This is one of the yarns I used.

Size and Gauge

The width of the scarf before washing is 35cm

Gauge of one square with a dot, knitted in double knitting, following the chart in the pattern, is about 5.5×5.5 centimeters.
